We are only ONE week away from Christmas — can you believe it?! And that means it’s holiday go-time!! Gotta finish all the shopping, baking, crafting, and don’t forget the wrapping, of course! If you’re looking for some fresh new ideas for your packages this year, we have just the inspiration for you. We teamed up with boss babe Samantha of Samantha Louise Designs to create some fab DIY holiday gift wrapping ideas! These are SO easy, and they’ll add the perfect personal touch to your presents! Get ready to get crafty babes!
Step aside traditional ribbon spools, we have a new way to achieve gorgeous package bows! All you need is several yards of fabric, which means you can select any color or texture that you like! Measure out the width you’d like your ribbon to be, make a small cut, and tear the rest! The ribbon will have a nice frayed effect on both edges. For ultra-luxe bows, tear pieces with thicker widths. Finish off your package with a holiday gift tag, like some of our favorites: Christmas Tree, Merry & Bright, Naughty & Nice, & Gemstone tags!
Wooden Ornament Gift Tags
Presents are the most fun to give when there’s a little gift on top! Make it special with a hand painted wooden ornament that serves as both a gift tag and decoration. To create your tag, grab one of our Stag Head ornaments and add any paint colors you wish! We used painters tape to mark off have of it, and painted it with both gold and grey for a modern look.
Hand Painted Wrapping Paper
Can’t find the perfect paper to wrap your gifts? Why not try making it yourself! This DIY project starts with either a roll of white butcher’s paper or brown kraft paper, which can typically be found at an office supply store. Using oil paints or watercolors, add designs by free hand across a large width of the paper in whatever style you wish! Once you’re done, let dry and cut the piece off the roll. Wrap your present using fun washi tapes, and top with funky ribbon! Finish it off with a holiday gift tag and handwritten note.
There you have it babes, three easy ideas to complete your holiday wrapping! Now excuse us while we get to work putting our presents underneath the tree!!
