In charge of drinks for Thanksgiving but not sure what to mix up?? Fear not — we’ve got you babe. We’ve pulled together four of our favorite festive sips that are sure to bring all sorts of comfort & joy to the table. Now get mixing and shaking, you’ve got a crowd to serve!!
1. ‘Tis the Season
2 oz Whiskey
Bar spoon of yuzu simple syrup (or substitute regular simple syrup)
Dash of cardamom bitters
Dash of angostura bitters
Add all elements to a mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain over fresh ice in rocks glass.
2. Spice Merchant
2 oz Rum
.5 oz Fresh squeezed OJ
.75 oz lime juice
.5 oz. cinnamon simple syrup*
Add ingredients to a shaker, and double strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with orange zest.
1.5 oz Gin
.5 oz Spiced pear liqueur
.5 oz Honey
Dash of RX Cherry Apple Bitters
Add all ingredients to a shaker, and strain over fresh ice. Garnish with sliced pear and grated cinnamon and nutmeg.
4. Everything Nice
1 oz Rye
1 oz Bourbon
Bar spoon of vanilla bean syrup*
Dash of chocolate bitters
Dash of orange bitters
Place all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain over fresh ice and garnish with orange zest and vanilla bean.
*Simple Syrup DIY:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
Boil sugar and water together, stirring, until sugar has dissolved.
For vanilla bean syrup: Add seeds from 1 vanilla bean to mixture before boiling. Pour into a glass container.
For cinnamon simple syrup: Add 1 cinnamon stick before boiling. Let sit 10-15 minutes after sugar has dissolved. Strain mixture into jar.
